The holidays are here: Ways to prepare so you can enjoy what the season has to offer!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…and the most stressful! Plan early by decluttering and deep cleaning your home so you feel more in control and ready for decorating and welcoming last-minute guests.

Prioritize the activities and traditions you enjoy most with family and friends. I love a Scandinavian-style holiday, and embrace all things hygge: Soft, warm lighting with candles and firelight, and cozy decor with lots of blankets and pillows to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for you and your guests.

The holidays wouldn’t be complete without some type of baking and goodies to enjoy! My traditional desserts are bundt cake and Norwegian waffles on Christmas morning, enjoyed with never-ending coffee and Nordic glogg at the end of the day (recipe to follow). Skal!
